Ministry development

REC Fivefold
Discernment

Recognizing Grace. Developing Function. Strengthening the Body.

REC Fivefold Discernment is a Christ-centered ministry development process grounded in Ephesians 4:7–16. It is designed to help members recognize how the grace of Christ may be functioning through them for the strengthening of His body and the advancement of His mission.

BEGIN FIVEFOLD DISCERNMENT

Set aside approximately 20–30 minutes and answer from your actual ministry experience rather than the ministry role you hope to have.

“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:”

Ephesians 4:11–12 KJV
